Residential sales volume for May 2006 increased 4% from April 2006
All Sales vs Year-to-date 2005
- Residential sales volume: up 34% to $2.7 billion
- Residential transactions: up 12% with 7,608
- Mobile home sales on land: up 38% to $51 million
- Plexes (2-5 units) sales: up 9% to $58 million
- Land sales: up 118% to $328 million
- Commercial volume: up 2% to $418 million
- Average residence: $350,806, up 20%
King County
Residential sales volume for May 2006 increased 1% from April 2006

- Residential sales volume: up 24% to $7.8 billion
- Residential transactions: up 9% with 17,521
- Mobile home sales on land: up 39% to $27 million
- Plexes (2-5 units) sales: up 19% to $218 million
- Land sales: increased 39% to $449 million
- Commercial volume: up 92% to $2.3 billion
- Average residence: $441,506, up 14%

Real Affordable Housing (but with no water service)
Last month I brought to you the most expensive single-family homes for sale in King and Snohomish County. Well, it's time to take a look to see what the most inexpensive homes are. The only requirement that I had when searching for these was that it was built on the lot (no manufactured homes) and that it was a single-family residence. Water service may or may not be included. Get your checkbooks ready...
